How To Treat Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes?

Hi, I have a 4.5 yr old son who has been recently been diagnosed with juvenile type 1 diabetes and is on 1U insulin dosage TDS before meals. yes the dosage is small , due to honeymoon period I guess. He has been suggested to take calcirol granules regularly, But since he is only 17 kg, I would like to know the exact dosage.Thank you,Praveen
