hello, After 1 year of age babies become choosy regarding food . Also after one year they become alert about the surrounding and they get distracted by it and by new toys they get . So food are the least interesting thing for them. So don't be alarmed, its not a problem with your child only. All babies are like that. What I suggest are following.
1. since he has teeth now how about letting him eat by grasping food by hand.
2 Since one year has passed now you can add bit of salt to his food and see whether he likes the taste.
3 Try variety of foods. Don't give him the same food and snack all the meals. boiled vegetables, home made potato chips, fried fish or chichen, fried rice. fruits. etc
4 try to feed him only when he is hungry. Don't feed him according to your time table. Child may not be hungry at that time. If he is not hungry don't force food . Leave him be and try again after some time.
5, Its better to train him for formula feeding since you are a carrier woman. Try changing the bottle teat and formula also and see whether he likes the new taste and texture.
You can use cup and spoon until child is used to the new taste.
6 If the child is not accepting formula at all how about express some and leave in the fridge later to be warmed.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
