How To Treat Lump On Forehead After An Injury?

My daughter fell and hit her forehead three weeks ago and the swelling has not gone down in fact , there is a lump and it seem to be growing but it is moving inside . I spoke to her pediatrician and he said it could be removed if it doesn t go down. I am very worried. Is it serious and will it go down by it self, or does it has to be removed surgical? I am very worried

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is not a serious thing. Most of the time it goes by itself. If not, then it has to be removed surgically.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
