General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.

This could be a cyst formed by the liquefied blood of an old hematoma(collection of blood) at the time of original injury. This could be known by an FNAC, and this could also prove to be diagnostic and therapeutic as well. However, a physical examination of the lump would be a pre-requisite for deciding on the management of the same and so, I would advise you to get it assessed by a general surgeon in your area.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
