How To Treat Lump On Forehead?

I have a lump on my forehead, just above the eyebrow. it started like a pimple which kept growing . it is now looks like a volcano. by that mean it leaks from the center and forms a crust. it is itchy, and i cannot get the crust to come off. the base is white rimmed in red and stands out 1/2 inch x round the size of a pencil. what ever it is i have had since December, any help would be appreciated, thank you. Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be impetigo contagiosa. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to take a course of antibiotic for one to two weeks under the supervision of a doctor. Take antiinflammatory drugs to reduce inflammation. Do not squeeze or rupture the lesion. Apply antibiotic cream like mupirocin. Improve hygiene and immunity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
