How To Treat Memory Loss?

I am having bad memory problems. I forget names and faces very easily, for example I had spoken at lenght with someone on the phone than met him in person a month later for business. I didn't remember his name, barely remembered the conversation until he reminded me (even then i wasnt quite sure). Than about 15 minutes later, i went up to him and reintroduced myself to him. now its has been probably 6-8 months and I still do not remember his name for company
