How To Treat Menstrual Irregularity?

Hi doctor,
I was diagnosed with severe bilateral hydrosalphynx and underwent tubectomy on the 24th day of the cycle. My periods were due a week later. My cycle is 1 month overdue and there is no sign of any periods. As per my doctor I should have had my periods. Please advise

Hi,

I think that the first thing that is required for this condition of your is a ultrasound examination of lower abdomen to rule out pregnancy. After that, if there's no pregnancy, I would suggest you to have a course of Medroxyprogesterone for 5 days. Also, have a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done.
