Norethisterone which is a derivative of female hormone. In order to delay periods you need to take the drug 3 to 5 days before the expected date of periods. You can take the drug for 7 to 10 days. You will not bleed during these days. You can start the drug from 20th and can travel from 23rd. After stopping the drug, withdrawal bleeding occurs in a few days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
