Hello,

Blood test for beta-hCG test is confirmatory to rule out early pregnancy. At this age, irregular or late period may occur due to hormonal imbalance and improper ovulation due to gradual dysfunction of ovary.

One pelvic ultrasound scan (USG) and other hormone tests like thyroid profile, prolactin level, PPBS, LH/ FSH, DHEAS etc will be worthwhile in this context if you didn't undergo previously. Kindly, consult with gynecologist.

Do light to moderate exercise for physical fitness and to reduce or control body weight. Avoid mental stress completely by regular meditation or yoga. Maintain a healthy life style.

Good luck.
