How To Treat Metallic Taste In Mouth, Abdominal Pain And Black Stools?

i do have symptoms of black stools, right upper quadrant abdominal pain, sour liquid coming into my mouth, after each meal sensation coming stools, weight loss, at night time awakenings with tingling palms and legs with sweating and urgency to go for bowel movement, metalic taste of mouth, dry mouth. with this i used pantop HP Kit, symptoms are gone away, but after this course of pantop HP Kit, the symptoms are coming again, what can i do

Hi,

I suspect a bleed from the upper portion of your gastrointestinal tract causing black stools and bile rising up your food pipe (esophagus) giving you that sour taste. You may have a peptic ulceration which maybe the cause for your problems.

Despite using the Pantop HP kit and finishing the course, recurrence can occur. You would need a repeat breath urea test to confirm eradication of the bug: H.pylori.

The test is usually repeated 4 weeks after completing the course. If I was your treating physician, I would check your Complete Blood Count, serum electrolytes, liver function, kidney function, schedule you for an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy test (to visualize the upper portion of your gastrointestinal tract), and repeat the urea breath test.

In the meantime make sure you are not dehydrated by taking oral rehydration salts and water. I encourage you to visit your physician as soon as possible.
