How To Treat Mild Headache And Pressure After Head Injury?
Hi, I hit my head yesterday on the top of my car at around 5:30 pm, it hurt, I got a mild headache took Motrin I felt fine, then I hit my head again today at 2:30 pm. Since then my head feels like I have pressure in the center of my head and around my nose, kinda like sinus headache. My question is should I seek medical attention and go the ER? Is it okay to fall asleep?
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. Mild headache is common after any injury to head and this headache responds to OTC analgesics. You have got injury to head twice and after second injury it is persisting. In my opinion if trauma was severe and then visit an ER and get yourself evaluated. If there was any bleeding, loss of consciousness, any discharge from nose or ears then urgent intervention is required. If everything comes normal then medicines like Naproxen can help to reduce that severe pain and you will feel better. Try to take rest and if symptoms worsen visit your doctor.
Hope this helps you. Thanks and take care
