How To Treat Mild Pain In Right Shoulder After Suffering From Electric Shock?

my partner has a dull ache in his right shoulder. He had a electric shock about 5 weeks ago and he has been working pulling cables though since then. But in the last two weeks he has complete rested, and we thought it was just a pulled muscle. but it seems to be getting no better. A hot bottle on it seems to help and pain killers but it seems to be getting no better, can you advise please?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Dull ache in shoulder following an electric shock can lead to injury to soft as well as bony tissue.
The soft tissue injury has probably caused injury to muscles and surrounding soft tissues.
You can continue hot fomentation since it is providing relief.
Besides pain killers for pain, muscle relaxants should be used.
The pain is probably due to strain to the muscle.
Hot fomentation, pain killers and muscle relaxants will relieve the pain and strain.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for prescription of the drug.

Thanks and take care
