How To Treat Nausea, stomach Pain And Blood In Stool After Retrieval Of Gall Bladder?
I had my gall bladder removed on July 15th. Ever since then I can only eat a few bites of food then I m severely nauseous and feel like vomiting. My doctor put me on Zofran until I see my GI doctor. Now, when I have a bowel movement, there is blood in my stool, in the toilet bowl, and on the toilet paper. Should I go to the ER?? I m also having stomach pain which is extremely unusual for me since I had my Gastric Bypass. Please help!
yes, if the symptoms are persistent and in significant amount, you should be going to the nearest emergency room. a consult with your doctor is a must, preferably with a gastroenterologist. blood examinations are also needed as you might have a decreased count if you're bleeding from the inside.
hope this helps.
good day!!
