How To Treat Night Sweats, Shivers, Chills And Sore Throat?

it started 3 days ago with a fever and shakes, since then I have been getting night sweats, shivers and chills along with a sore throat and hurts to swallow . I have been taking buckleys every 4 hours to help with the fever and chills. i haven t felt better, should i go get checked out or try the weather this a couple more days?

Hello,
The following treatment is recommended for sore throat with chills and fever:
1) Tab. Acetaminophen every 6 hourly
2) Tab. Azithromycin for 3 days
3) If you are allergic to Azithromycin, you can take tab. Amoxicillin plus Clavilanic acid for 5 days.
4) Drink warm water
5) Warm salt water gargles would help ease the sore throat.

If your symptoms don't subside even after 3 days, you need to consult a physician for further evaluation.
