How To Treat Pain Due To Red Bump On The Side Of Clitoris?

I have a red bump on the side of my clitoris. It only hurts if I touch it or rub against. I notice it today when changing my tampon and felt a tiny discomfort. From the scale from 1-10 I will give it a 2.So its not extremely painful. Stingy like feeling. What could it be? No irritation.
