How To Treat Pain In Vagina ?

Hi I had a vaginal repair and TVT in June 2013. I have been experiencing more and more frequent pain in my groin but only the right side from mild pain (just being uncomfortable)to severe pain(where I can hardly walk). Also on self examination I can feel the tape up inside and also my husband can feel it during sexual intercourse. Is this normal?Thanks
