How To Treat Pain, Swollen And Tender Knee?

Hi sir, Good morning. This is Sneha, 37 years I have pain below my right knees. It makes me uncomfortable to Jog. I massaged the knee area with some cream and it swelled and I got severe pain and was un able to move my legs. I met the orthopedic doctor next morning and he diagnosed it as tenderness in knee.. I am having this problem since one month. He had prescribed me the tablets for 10days. But I still feel the pain wen I jog. It would be very helpful if U could suggest me the remedy and cause for this please.

Hello,

There are many medical causes related to the tenderness in the knee. I recommend to do a knee X-ray for further evaluation. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using cold compresses and maintain the knee elevated to prevent further inflammation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
