Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I bit the front part of my tongue hard, and it bled. but even after that I kept on biting it for a few days, I just kinda liked feeling the pain, and of course it got worse. it got more painful, and now it turned white, and my tongue now got itchy and it sorta spread.
I would suggest you to start with topical analgesic and anesthetics. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles. Brush and floss twice daily and your tongue scraper to remove debris from tongue. Use nystain suspensions and listerine mouth wash. Consult oral physician for complete examination and diagnosis. Get your complete blood investigation done to find exact iron levels. Keep drinking plenty of water.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon. Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
