How To Treat Painful Red Rash On The Leg?

Red rash causing pain on my leg. I have a reddish rash on my leg. It is a bit moist and it is a little painful when I walk and my testicles rub against it. It might be Candiasis of the skin but I cannot be sure. What treatment should I get and how should I deal with the rash?

I warmly Welcome you !

It is known as Jock itch and is a fungal infection. You need proper treatment for the same.

If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you topical Corticosteroid/Clotrimazole ointment, plus Loratadine by mouth and a follow-up after a few days.

It will help you a lot right from the start of treatment. Take plenty of fluids. Do undershave before the hair grows a little bit. It will keep the area less humid and fungal infection will not happen again. Use cotton only Underwears and loose clothes.

Take a bath with Oatmeal milk and honey body wash. Let me know if you need further assistance anytime.
