How To Treat Painful Skin Cracks And Bleed On Left Hand Fingers?
For several weeks now the fingers on my left hand has become very painful. They started to itch then the skin cracks and bleeds. it would then develop blisters, after the blisters break the outer skin will peel off exposing the second layer of skin with red painful blotches lease advise
It may be acrodermatitis or finger tip dermatitis most probably. The cause would be unknown or contact with some irritant like soap, detergent etc. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply mild steroid combined with antibiotic cream. Take a course of oral steroid in tapering dose. To relieve itching, take antihistaminic like cetirizine. Avoid contact with soap and detergent. Do not torture the skin.
