How To Treat Panic Attack Inspite Of Taking Ativan?

My son is having panic attack issues and is taking a drug to calm and is helping him to sleep. He was an awesome hockey player and is 24 years old, I m very concerned and want to direct him to someone who can really understand his situation, but do not know who to contact. He is seeing his family physician and they gave him Ativan 3 years ago he got over it and now has recently just got it back again. His hands tremble all the time and wondering if he should see a brain specialist , what do you think .
