How To Treat Peeled, Itchy Skin With Bumps On Fingers, Face And Lips?
Have had my nails done in a salon for many, many years. Have recently acquired some type of infection. Began at top of finger, skin peeled, itching, and now small clear bumbs on my fingers. How do I treat. I have taken my salon nails off. I also have the same on my upper lip and some areas of my face due to the fact I touch my face.
hi, thank you for putting up your query on HCM as per your history, you may have fungal infection such as Tinea or candidiasis. my treatment advise would be: 1. you may take a course of oral and topical antifungals for 3-4 wks. oral antifungals like tab fluconazole 150 mg once a week and topical miconazole cream twice a day. 2. maintain hygiene. 3. you may also take tab levocetrizine twice a day for itching. for peeling and dryness you may apply white soft paraffin twice a day. -- no parlour procedures for at least a month. -- do not apply any scented cream over the lesions. wishing you good health. thank you
