How To Treat Peeling Lips?

My lips are peeling terribly i went to urgent care and the dr thinks its since ivr started wellbutrin 3month ago could that br the answer? She prescribed antibiotic ointment and a cremr for impetago i have just used it two days and have improved very little can you suggest anything?

Thanks for your query . Yes the peeling of lip occur due to medicine you took as its side effect. But you didn't mention the name of the cream for impetago.

I would suggest you to :

- Continue applying antibiotics ointment .

- Use lip balm also with SPF 15 to protect it from UV exposure .

- Also start taking vitamin C supplement for quick recovery .

- Keep your self stress free .

If condition doesn't get improved in a week then again visit you doctor or dermatologist .

Doctor may prescribe you oral antibiotics , anti histamine drug and steroid ointment .

Also discuss with doctor for alteration of dose of wellbutrin and substitute of it.
