How To Treat Persistent Cough With Asthma?

Age 76 Years old,h-5.5ft. w-60kg,Actually Previously i was chain smoker,but after retirement i quit smoking & afterwords im now accuite Bronchol Asthama patient,Getting Inhailer Or Nebulisation Regularly as physician But stil my Cough not getting liquid & its always stucking tightly in my Throught,as a result iam not having any food until clear my through.pls advise

Hi, if u were a chain smoker and having persistent cough with asthma, then first chances could be chronic bronchitis after confirmation by chest xray. As u havnt mentioned since how long u r having cough, u consult pulmonary physician and get properly evaluated
