How To Treat Persistent Pain In The Right Foot?

I had sudden sharp pain in my right foot last night just before bedtime. I could barely walk on it to go to bed. This morning, it is just slightly painful. I am a 63 year old femaie and enjoy very good health. I usually walk every day, am a healthy weight and a non-smoker.
