How To Treat Phlegm In A Toddler With History Of Wheezing?

My 3 and half year daughter, weighing 13 kg had fever and throat infection. she took antibiotic for 5 days since 15th nov along with paedeatric histalix (3.5 ml) for cough. after the course of the antibiotic, i contined giving histalix till her couging stopped. But now she still has phlegm in her throat (i think). I am worried if i ignore this, it might result in cough again or maybe chest infection. What can i give her to reduce phelgm, (maybe mucolyte?) and how much? she does have a history of wheezing.

hi
it is clear from the history that she had infection of her upper respiratory tract and this had subsided.
as the course of antibiotic is completely taken there are less chances that it will come back.
i would suggest you to visit a pediatrician and get a prescription to boost the immunity of your child.
regards
