Hi doctor, iam 22 year old.I am kideny transplant patient and transplant done on dated 21.03.2012 i am taking wysolne 20 mg from last 4 month,now i am observed pimples are coming on my face ,hand &chest
what is the reson & how to control for that please send the details as soon as possible.
I understand your concern about pimples after starting on wysolone.
This is called as acneiform eruption and it is a side effect of oral steroid, wysolone. However, since wysolone is very essential for you, you cannot stop it.
For the pimples, wash your face with a pH balanced face wash, preferably a one containing 1-2% salicylic acid. You may apply a gel containing clindamycin 1% in the morning over pimples and Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night over pimple prone areas. Get these prescribed by your doctor.
