My neice is 16, has severe pneumonia being treated with an antiobiotic.. She was suppose to have an xray at the doctor's office today, but they did a pregnancy test first, and she is pregnant. This is a crisis for our family.. My sister and brother - in - law are ok with her having an abortion, because my neice doesn't want the pregnancy. It was an accident, and everyone is in agreement that having an abortion is the solution. Unfortunately, my sister and brother - in - law do not have insurance for my neice, and she is covered by a state insurance plan for people at the poverty line. My Mom & Dad, (grandparents) are willing to pay for her to have an abortion. Our main question is, does she need to be treated for the pneumonia first before she can have an abortion? Can we admit her to a hospital and get an abortion for her while in the hopsital being treated for her pnuemonia? PLEASE HELP!! Thank you..
