Hi,

Sometimes the period of menstrual flow may alter from cycle to cycle. Usually menstrual flow for 2 to 7 days can be considered as normal only. While using the birth control pills also the period of withdrawal bleeding can vary from 2 to 7 days. Also, some amount of abdominal cramps can also be seen while using birth control pills. Therefore, you can wait and watch for 2 more days and possibly bleeding may decrease soon.

If you are having an increased frequency of micturition and burning micturition along with pain abdomen, you have to rule out the possibility of urinary tract infection. Taking plenty of oral fluids and avoiding holding of urine can decrease the symptoms to some extent.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
