Hi,

The points to be considered in your case are:
-If there is any history of unprotected intercourse after abortion, the possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out
-In case of retained products of previous abortion, intermittent bleeding can be seen.

As the bleeding is persistent, what you can do is, please consult your gynecologist once and go for a blood test for pregnancy and an ultrasound. With this work-up the possibility of pregnancy and retained products can be ruled out. Then you can take antifibrinolytic drugs with your doctor's advice to control the bleeding. If needed hormonal tablets can help in regularizing the menstrual cycles.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
