How To Treat Rapid Shallow Breathing In A Physically Challenged Child?

Hi, how are you? I have a severly disabled child, with a number of complex health issues. All day he has been breathing room air and his breathing is not only shallow and quite rapid, but it has a laboured sound to it. I gave his medications an hour ago and his oxygen is now on and there s been no improvement, his temp is fine and his stats are in a normal range, he s already laying elevated, but hasn t eased, any ideas on what to do for him please?

I really appreciate your concern, you have not given detail medical history, what kind of disease the child has got not mentioned here, neither the age of child given here, if this is the kind of some congenital disease then it is necessary to follow the guideline suggested by pediatrician, your detail query would be appreciated hope this information helps.
