How To Treat Recurrent Mucus Build Up In Throat?

Hi, I have had an issue with swallowing solid foods for abput 3 months now. I have had my esophagus stretched, and been checked out by an ENT specialist. I find that I have to clear my throat every so often, as clear flem, if you will, seems to build up in the back of my throat. I have also gone to a gastro doctor, with no conclusive remedy. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain excessive mucous build up in throat seems to be due to a few common reasons like Upper Respiratory Track Infection, Sinusitis, acid reflux, throat infection, Oral infections, nasal polyps..
I would suggest you to take a short course of antibiotics, do steam inhalation, take mucolytics like Ambroxol and do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods.
Drink plenty of warm water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
