How To Treat Recurrent Testicular Pain?

Hi, today when I got out of my friends pool, (it has a lot of chlorine in the pool) my testicles started hurting. I applied baby powder and that kinda helped I guess for a little then the pain came back but only in one testicle and then I applied more powder and it kinda worked, should I keep applying baby powder? And I m scared to urinate as it may hurt, will it hurt to urinate?

Hi,Dear, thanks for the query to My HCM virtual Clinic. After indepth study of the query,My diagnosis of the testicle pain -after the chlorinated pool exposure is-Irritation by friction of the eczematous scrotal skin, which gets reduced by the baby powder, as the friction of eczematoid scrotal skin and pain thereon, gets reduced for sometime and recurrs again after the baby powder gets removed by the scrotal skin being rubbed off by normal movements.Hence the more powder could reduce the testicular pain. There is no urinary infection or urethritis there with you and will not hurt if you urinate.Treatment-Dont continue applying as it would cause infectious growth in scrotal skin.I would treat it by the low-steroidal skin ointment under care of skin doctor.Tb NSAIDs , and Antibiotics to cover any secondary infection in eczematoid scrotal skin with post-chlorine dermatitis , would resolve your issue ASAP.Hope this would resolve your issue.Wellcome for more queries.Good day
