How To Treat Recurring Rash On Torso And Arms?

My son has an unknown rash that appeared on his torso and arms about 4 days ago. Then I gave him Benadryl and it went away and now it is here again. We though it was ant bites but these are larger and no pus. They feel hard to the touch and raised. He is 14 years old, I hare to think I would have to keep giving him Benadryl all of the time. Please advise.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

It is necessary consulting with a dermatologist. These skin changes could be indicative of an allergy reaction or an infection. For this reason, it is necessary consulting with a specialist of the field and having some tests done (allergy tests, complete blood count, PCR, etc.).

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
