How To Treat Red And Itchy Rash On Thigh And Groin?
My son has a rash on right thigh and groin and has spread to his left groin, took him in yesterday doc said contact dermatitis, I don t agree, he is swollen and red and itchy, only give benadryl and topical hydrocortisone. ...what else can I do for him

It could be of great help if you could send a photo of the rash area to me in order to evaluate the changes myself.
I would recommend adding antifungal therapy (e.g. clotrimazole or terbinafine cream along with topical hydrocortisone). From what you are describing, it could be jock itch (tinea cruris) to me.
