How To Treat Red And Itchy Vagina?

A couple of days ago, I woke up and my vagina was red and itchy. A couple days has gone by and now I found pink discharge coming out. It's starting to become painful and I was wondering if there were any drug store antibiotics I could use. Also what it could be and how I got it. Your answer is greatly appreciated.

Hi

Vaginal infections should be ruled out. In case of smelly vaginal discharge, bacterial infections should be ruled out. Curdy white discharge can occur in candida infection.

Any repeated scratching could have caused the redness.Any new soap or cream use can cause these symptoms.High blood sugar levels should also be ruled out.

A 5 day course of antibiotics can be taken in case of bacterial or fungal infections. Vaginal hygiene and ph should be maintained. Various vaginal washes are available for the same. Excess vaginal hair can also be trimmed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
