How To Treat Red And Painful Area Around The Hip?
I went to sleep lying on a heating pad an burnt my hip.now I top layer of skin rubbed off an area is raw,white,little red on one side,very painful AROUND the 1 x2 area.with a small amount of drainage. What treatment can I use. I ve cleaned it with alcohol put antibiotic cream. Its been about 8 days

I really appreciate your concern, some soothing agent can be tried and best is "Diphenhydramine lotion" if this is infection then antibiotic can be added else this is nothing to worry, care need to be taken for septic, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
