How To Treat Redness And Irritation Near The Opening Of Vagina?

for the past few days, my vagina has been irrated near the opening. its redder than usual. it feels irrated, raw, && dry. its itchs but I think olny bcc its dry. I haven't used any new soaps, underwear, etc... no changes in lifestyle...I have no discharge or bad smells nothing different besides the raw/dry feeling.

I'm 21, 5'9" 145lbs. no serious medical issues.

This happened a few months ago, the doctor had me use vagisal femine moisterziour which worked after a few days.

Should I try that again ??
Also anything I can do to make it bareable to go on w/ day to day things.
