As per your query you have right ear block with humming sound which could be due to tendency to get wax impacted, due to Eustachian tube dysfunction, due to enlarged adenoids or sinusitis could be one of the cause. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and go for thorough examination of nasopharynx to rule out above mentioned causes. and start treatment as per proper diagnosis. Dazaort steroid ointment should be started after prescription only.If nasopharynx is find out to be clear and without any symptoms then blockage of eustachian tube will be the cause and it can be confirmed by audiometry. Till then avoid excessive blowing. Apply dry hot compresses to external ear. Take steam twice a day to relieve the congestion. Do warm saline gargles. Put nasal saline and ear drops.
