How To Treat Ringworm On Face, Leg, Stomach And Pubic Area?

hi,i m sourabh nd i m suffrring fron very badly ringworm on my face,stomach,private area and my leg from last 9-10 months. I was consult a skin doctor nd after that I got some good results but only for some days nd now the ringworms come back again. I requested u to plz suggest me some tips to how can i get rid from the rinworm.

Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. Ringworm is a common fungal infection of the skin. It is usually treated with antifungal medicines. I would suggest:

1. Wash the rash with soap and water, and dry thoroughly. For large areas of blistered sores, use compresses such as those made with Burow's solution (available without a prescription) to soothe and dry out the blisters.

2. Apply antifungal cream(which contains miconazole, neomycin, cotrimazole) beyond the edge or border of the rash.

3. Don't stop using the medicine just because your symptoms go away. You will probably need to continue treatment for 2 to 4 weeks.
