How To Treat Scar On Thigh Caused Due To Hot Water Spill?
Hello,I had a hot water spill on my upper thigh about a month ago. The affected area turned into red and eventually it became became dark (black almost). I am applying moisturizing lotions and using Vitamin E oil to sooth the affected area. Is there any solution to get rid of dark skin on the affected area ?

Hyper-pigmentation and altered pigmentation is a usual sequelae of burn injury.
It is not possible to remove the hyper-pigmentation with moisturizing lotion or vitamin E.
Cosmetic treatment is required to get rid of the hyper-pigmentation.
Thus, consult a dermatologist for the cosmetic treatment of scar and its hyper-pigmentation.
