How To Treat Severe Acne Scars?

Hi Doctor,i'm 26 yrs old and my name is Arun.I'm living in chennai right now.I have holes in my face for the past 6 yrs.After the pimples gone,that pimples cost holes on my face.Is there any treatment available for removing the holes and how much it costs.Please help me in that problem.

Post acne scaring is a complication of severe/inflammatory acne. Acne scarring can be of various types: box-car scars, ice-pick scars, rolling type of acne scars etc
There are various options available with a dermatologist to improve the appearance of acne scars: Dermabrasion, Fractional CO 2 Laser, Subcision, Microneedling/Dermaroller, chemical peeling, Punch excision and grafting etc.
I would recommend that you visit a nearby dermatologist.
After examining the type of acne scaring your dermatologist would be able to tell you the procedure Or a combination of procedures that would achieve the best results.
Each procedure is suited best for a particular type of acne scars e.g while microneedling would improve Rolling type of acne scars much better than Ice-pick scars; whereas punch excision and grafting is mainly done for Ice-pick acne scars.
