How To Treat Severe Hangover After Drinking Excess Alcohol?

Hello! So my boyfriend got a bit too drunk the other night and his friends dared him to eat a Clorox wipe, so naturally he did. He is very sick, but he is also very hungover so its hard to tell if hes sick from the absurd amount of alcohol consumed or if hes sick from the clorox wipe. Is he going to be okay? Should he go to the hospital just in case? If not, any suggestions as to what kinds of medication he should be taking to avoid possible future sickness due to swallowing the wipe?

Ok, alcohol poisoning and death risk peaks at an hour after consuming the alcohol. About 1 drink worth of alcohol disappears per hour after all the alcohol is absorbed. So, several hours after drinking, the alcohol risk is not much. THere can be withdrawal effects that can include fatal seizures, hallucinations, etc. If someone has a history of them, the risk is really high. Without a previous history of it and more than the usual drinking, there has to be a first time but the risk is pretty small and usually has warnings of elevated pulse, blood pressure, a large amount of agitation, NOT being bed ridden, and being out of control and out of one's mind. Not. Likely.
Dehydration occurs to some degree in MOST hangovers. Plain water is best. Best if taken in frequent small amounts. Will NOT require hospitalization if fluids are able to be kept down.
Bleach causes erosion and ulcers. More bleach and more concentrated bleach is more risky. The entire point of bleach wipes are to make the bleach more convenient and less dangerous than pouring straight bleach out of the container. Detailed informaiton can be obtained from local poison control centers which are open 24/7. Signs of danger would be 1) signs of ulcer. black or red vomiting/stool and PAIN 2) obstruction...which is very unlikely to occur but would happen anytime until the wipe comes out in the stool Bloating up of the abdomen and not passing stool are the signs and pain is gradual and mild at first.
Mostly, this is probably NOT going to be serious. If someone repeatedly does lots of regrettable actions with alcohol that is more serious.
