How To Treat Severe Menstrual Cramps?

I have been on 5mg of Prednisone since May. Just started my period two days ago and woke up this morning in a puddle and twice today blood has poured out. I am using Ultra tampons and changing them every hour. Had really bad cramps and put a heating pad on and after 3 hours the pain dissipated.

1. To treat menstrual cramps you can take any antispasmodic medicine twice a day.
2. Using a hot water bottle will help soothe out the pain.
