Hi,

According to your history the points that can help you are:
- Because of prolonged amenorrhea there will be thickened endometrium which can lead to heavy menstrual flow.
- If you have underwent urine test for pregnancy, better go for blood test for pregnancy which will be more accurate in ruling out the possibility of pregnancy.
- If the test gives negative result, by increasing the dose of Primolut-N and by adding anti-fibrinolytic and antispasmodic drugs the bleeding and pain can be decreased to some extent.

Investigations like ultrasound, hemoglobin levels, blood sugar levels and thyroid profile, etc. can help to find out the possible cause of irregular periods and prolonged bleeding further treatment can be planned according to this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
