Hello,
You are suffering from
severe pain in lower spine that is interfering with your daily activities. Bones are fragile in
osteoporosis so be very careful while you twist, turn, bend or move. Fractures can happen even from simple movements like lifting a bag of groceries, twisting to get out of a car, or tripping slightly on a rug, etc. You should take food rich in calcium and
magnesium and also its supplements.
Get connected to a physical therapist, for relaxing therapy, mind body therapy, exercises,
massage therapy, and
talk therapy. Hot and cold compression, braces and support are helpful. Get clinically examined by an orthopedist, get required blood and imaging tests done so that treatment can be started at the earliest. In the meantime, take NSAIDs, Naproxen, one stat when required after food for relief from pain. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
