How To Treat Severe Pain In Right Side Of Chest, dizziness And Headache?

Hi, Last nite woke 3am with severe ache in right side of chest. Never experienced any feeling like this, ached in waves, very uncomfortable. Later got kids to school, seemed to be dissipating but feeling starting going up neck, now resides in neck and right side of head, strange painful headache feeling. Not dizzy or short of breath but same aching pain in neck and head. Seems to lessen a little when I move around, won t cease tho. I am 48 female, history of heart issues but not diagnosed. Could this be a blood clot? I have 2 children and no one to watch them so I really don t need an emergency!

Hi welcome to HCM
Your pain is suggestive of an evolving MI.So get an ECG and 2D ECHO of your heart immediately. Also get your BP and heart rate monitored. Also get Troponin T,lipidprofile, complete blood picture to rule out Acute MI.Drugs like Antiplatelets,Antihypertensives will be helpful in your case.Take low salt high protein diet.Exercise daily.Coronary angiogram will be useful to know the number and size of clots. Consult your cardiologist for further queries and expert management.
Thankyou
