How To Treat Severe Stomach Pain And Fatigue While Suffering From Hernia?

My mom is 34 and was diagnosed with severe chron s disease 6 years ago and has had so many surgeries she cant have anymore. She has seizure, has a bag, 2 cysts, a hernia in her stoma, she was told that if anything happened they could not do surgery on her. Today she informed me and my brothers that she didn t know what was going to happen at the doctors tomorrow, and she told us how she was throwing up and it had blood in it and how when she would make a bowl movement it was pure blood, she also said she has blood in her bag. My mother also can t eat anything with out throwing up and having severe pain in her stomach she has also lost 20 pounds in one month. When she walked to the kitchen she said that it felt like she ran a mile and she is always sleepy. Is there anything I can do for that will help her till we find out whats wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Her Crohn's disease has been aggravating, explaining blood she is throwing and defecating. Plus, blood loss is causing anemia, that should be treated immediately. Anemia and non feeding properly is causing her feeling extreme fatigue. You should treat her anemia, and ask doctors to prescribe medications to manage her Crohn's. She needs close medical assistance, and lots of patience from your part.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
