How To Treat Severe Throat Ache?

I recently got a sore throat that followed with headaches, dizziness, chills, temperature, fatigue, and nausea. All those symptoms are gone now, but the pain has gotten gradually worse. My tonsils have huge craters on them, the craters use to be white but now the whiteness is gone and they are just red, veiney, and irritated to the point where I have to grit my teeth to swallow. It s been a little over a week now, and I have a tiny white speck on my right tonsil. Any idea what it is?

HI.
Sore throat that followed with headaches, dizziness, chills, temperature, fatigue, and nausea indicates that you had severe form of pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
Witht antibitoics the infection got half treated . Before resolution could occur , you developed the Peritonsilar abscess as described by you. You mat need drainage of the peritonsilar abscess if the another set of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines do not work .
