How To Treat Sharp Pain In Left Hip While Suffering From Osteoarthritis?

I have osteoarthritis in my left hip which has caused narrowing, my ortho dr has told me my option is a replacement if it gets to where I can t stand the pain anymore! But all of a sudden I got this sharp pain in my side it s like when you run real hard and your sides hurt that s what it feels like but constant? Is it getting worse?

It is possible that there may be worsening of the arthritis in the joint. This may cause to alter the way that you move , putting pressure on other areas.

If surgery is not an option for you right now, you would need to consider continued pain medication and physiotherapy.
In some persons the use of chondrotin helps as well
